General Information:
The Department of Procurement Services is responsible for the contracting of goods, services and construction for the University. In addition, we oversee the University’s Supplier Diversity initiative and all university related eVA processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This is a dynamic and multi-faceted position in Procurement Services (building coordinator duties, budget management/fiscal tech duties, state reporting, eVA/Procurement support, vendor liaison/outreach, state reporting, social media management, event planning and outreach, represents university on various committees, etc.).
Qualifications:
Required:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with budget management and reconciliation.
Detail oriented.
Experience with data analysis and reporting.
Proven strong experience in Word and Excel.
Proven record of supporting team dynamics.
Event planning experience.
Leadership and facilitation skills.
Strong ability support small business outreach.
Additional Considerations:
Experience with Canva or other similar graphic design software.
Experience in social media outreach.
Experience with eVA, PeopleSoft, Chrome River, Adobe, Access, and/or other software/systems for proven technical aptitude.
