The Estopinal College of Architecture and Planning (CAP) at Ball State University has a rich history in community engaged, professionally grounded, innovative and impactful design education. The Department of Urban Planning offers accredited programs for both undergraduates and graduate students and provides instructors with planning experience to teach in the CAP first-year program.
Job Function:The Department of Urban Planning seeks part-time instructors to teach in the CAP first-year program. Instructors are needed to teach three to nine hours of studio and graphics courses.
Minimum Experience:A Master's degree in Urban Planning or closely aligned field. Must have at least one year of experience in design-based studio courses as an instructor or as a student.
Preferred Experience:Master's degree in Urban Planning. Experience teaching in a design-based studio course.
