Job Description

Position Highlights:

Supports the administration of the Center’s HR Compliance and Immigration programs by providing administrative support and facilitation for HR Compliance and Immigration functions. This position will be responsible for monitoring and responding to multiple shared inbox customer service requests. This role may be required to meet, in person and/or virtually, with foreign nationals to provide resources intended to assist them in their transition to Moffitt and the Tampa Bay area. This position will work on routine audits as assigned by pulling adhoc reports and distributing accordingly. This position will work under close to moderate supervision with limited latitude for independent judgment. Consults with senior peers on non-complex HR Compliance and Immigration projects to learn through experience.

 

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Be able to enter and maintain Immigration, HR Compliance, Remote work information into an HRIS system.
  • Be able to run adhoc reports and be able to provide a basic understanding of the story that can be told utilizing that data.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to varying levels in the organization.
  • Must be organized and demonstrate a strong initiative to learn on the job while providing impeccable customer service to internal and external team members, leadership and candidates across the organization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Triage emails that come through multiple department shared email address by responding to all requests or escalating to the appropriate person to respond.

 

  • Partner with the recruiting and onboarding teams to aid in a seamless candidate experience.

 

  • Runs adhoc reports and reviews routine data entry for functions across the HR Compliance and Immigration team as needed and as part of ongoing audits.

 

  • Updates immigration postings at physical locations.

 

  • The facilitation of presentations and trainings for HR Compliance and Immigration established functions.

 

  • Works on special projects as needed.

 

Credentials and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. 

 

  • Minimum of (2) two years experience in a program/department support role required. Must have functional knowledge in human resources or business administration processes.

 

***4 years of direct, verifiable HR experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.***

 

Preferred:

  • Experience in a law office, corporate compliance, recruiting or HR compliance setting.

 

  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR
