The Oklahoma Registry Advisor is responsible for evaluating applications and documentation submitted for the Oklahoma Director's Credential (ODC) and the Oklahoma Professional Development Ladder (PDL) and issuing credentials and certificates, as part of the Oklahoma Professional Development Registry (OPDR). The Oklahoma Registry Advisor reports to the Oklahoma Registry Lead and Project Director. This position will require occasional travel during weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Reliable transportation is necessary.



This position is located in Moore, Oklahoma.

**A hybrid (combination of remote work and in-office work) work schedule may be possible upon approval from the supervisor and University.



 


 

Job Requirements

--- 

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree, AND:  




  •  24 months experience working with professional development systems or similar programs



Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 72 months of experience.



Skills:




  • Ability to speak, read and write clear, concise English

  • Ability to accurately read and understand written materials and instructions

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Detail-oriented for accuracy of data and information

  • Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines

  • Strong initiative to solve problems

  • General office skills such as multi-line phone, copying, filing, faxing, and mail

  • Customer service

  • Experience working in early childhood or public school setting



Certifications:




  • Valid Driver's License



Advertised Physical Requirements:




  • Ability to engage in repetitive motions, and grasp objects with fingers or hands. Ability to communicate, including expressing oneself or exchanging information with others both verbally and in writing. Ability to see, including color, depth perception, and clarity. Ability to lift 30 pounds. Ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to work effectively with frequent exposure to pressure caused by deadlines, busy periods, and a high volume of public contact.



Departmental Preferences:




  • Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, child development, and family relations, elementary education, or related

  • Knowledge of Oklahoma Professional Development Registry

  • Knowledge of Oklahoma Child Care Licensing Requirements

  • Knowledge of the Oklahoma Reaching for the Stars program



Supervision: No Supervisory Duties
