This senior position serves as the application specialist for our large-scale enterprise application software and focuses primarily on one enterprise system with an attached client portfolio. This role delivers innovative technology solutions, through the collaboration with campus partners, identification of functional requirements, writing of specifications, and testing of custom developed workflows and electronic forms.

The analyst provides daily support and analysis of complex business problems as they relate to GW’s applications: Oracle eBusiness Suite and ancillary systems such as SAP Concur, GW’s Endowment Tracking System. Coordinates with developers, DBAs, operations, service desk, IT security, vendors and clients as necessary in providing resolutions to system issues.

This position is frequently responsible for learning new product functionality and effectively translating capabilities to clients. The analyst will also provide training and direction to other team members.

Performs other related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.
Minimum Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 5 years of relevant professional experience, or, a Master’s degree or higher in a relevant area of study plus 3 years of relevant professional experience. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Ability to write SQL queries to extract data and generate custom reports out of a relational database per business needs.
Technical knowledge of software development lifecycle and systems analysis.
Comprehensive knowledge of a major ERP package, with a strong preference for experience with the Oracle eBusiness Suite or another relevant financial application.
Demonstrated ability to multitask and coordinate with supervisor and team on competing priorities.
Experience working in an agile environment with iterative development methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban, etc)
Leading discussions on defining, designing, and building complete integrated business solutions (processes and tools) with clients and IT developers
Partner heavily with business leaders throughout the organization in order to deliver a successful system implementation
Resolving complex technology and team management issues with innovative and efficient solutions
Interacting (communicating, influencing, motivating and negotiating) effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including functional management and personnel, senior management, strategic vendors/consultants.
Good organization skills with the ability to exercise discretion and ingenuity to determine the proper course of action while following established standards.
Innovative, with resourcefulness with strong drive for results.
Experience as a project manager, team lead, or task lead.
Work experience in a higher education institution is a plus.
