We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruiter. In this role, you will provide strategic recruitment to assigned scientific, programmatic, and/or operational divisions. You will be responsible for the analysis, development, and implementation of functionally based recruitment plans, independently source and attract candidates, and manage complete recruitment lifecycle. By developing, implementing and executing innovative recruitment strategies, tactics and processes, you will help to enable the Laboratory to pursue its mission of solving the pressing scientific needs of our nation.

Position Requirements

The selected candidate will be placed at the appropriate level (PA2 or PA3) dependent upon depth and breadth of relevant knowledge and skills brought to the position, as well as the amount of relevant experience. The requirements are as follows:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years’ recruiting experience or equivalent
  • Experience with full life cycle consultative recruitment
  • Ability to effectively present to small groups of executives and managers
  • Clear and persuasive communication skills combined with exceptional interpersonal skills: relates well, learns from, and listens to diverse perspectives; develops strong networks by cultivating relationships inside and outside the organization; fosters collaboration to enable effective completion of business objectives.
  • Ability to work under limited direction, stay disciplined in a remote environment, and drive for continuous improvement.
  • Experience sourcing and attracting talent with LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Excellent problem solving ability and the willingness to take on projects or initiatives to improve our Talent Acquisition function.
  • Knowledge of State and Federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and associated applications.
  • Desire to uphold and embody the Laboratory’s Core Values: Integrity, Teamwork, Respect, Impact, and Safety.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the Workday Recruiting applicant tracking system
  • Familiarity with the Office Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) and recruitment strategies that help Federal Contractors meet their recruitment obligations.
  • Experience with diversity recruitment outreach strategies and processes

PA2 – Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of recruiting experience or equivalent

PA3 – Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of recruiting experience or equivalent
