Job Description

Summary

The Section of General Internal Medicine is seeking a Business Operations Coordinator to provide support for our Hospital Medicine Programs at CHI St. Luke's Sugar land Hospital and CHI St. Luke's The Vintage Hospital. This role supports the daily business operations, including provider credentialing, maintaining clinic schedules, and day-to-day administrative support. This position requires excellent organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties

• Leads the day-to-day operational support of the hospital medicine program at CHI St. Luke's Sugarland Hospital and CHI St. Luke's The Vintage Hospital.
• Supports other members of the hospital medicine program team.
• Assists with credentialling including BaylorMedCare credentialling, including the tracking of credentialling status, initial credentialling, and re-credentialling.
• Maintains schedules in QGenda.
• Organizes meetings, prepares agendas, and takes meeting minutes and action items.
• Assists in auditing patient billing and compliance along with tracking of these tasks.
• Processes supplemental payments for faculty for moonlighting and other additional assignments.
• Provides administrative support to faculty including processing reimbursements, travel requests, and ordering of supplies.
 

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Two years of relevant experience. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field.
  • Two years of relevant experience.
