Job Description

Job Summary
Operations and Training Support Specialist is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating training programs. Act as campus liaison between OCI Knowledge Services and the Campus. Test, troubleshoot and identify solutions for system functionality issues with PeopleSoft, Non-Academic Canvas, MARS, PaymentWorks, ServiceNow, and other applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop, evaluate and conduct training classes for faculty and staff.
Consult with department heads and other personnel to determine training needs.
Plan training courses, update and maintain training material.
Partner with Subject Matter Experts to understand and document business process needs and requirements.
Provide end user support for use of PeopleSoft & ServiceNow applications.
Act as Campus liaison communicating by phone, e-mail and in-person for UT Arlington faculty and staff, utilizing Help Desk software to open and monitor incidents.
Test system functionality, troubleshoot and identify system issues involving multiple systems including PeopleSoft FMS, PeopleSoft HCM and ServiceNow.
Manage the OCI Knowledge Services learning management system to schedule classes, reflect registrants, attendees and course completion.
Generate learning and development reports. Follow up with training course attendees by providing and reviewing Class Evaluations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Proficiency with video editing, screens capture, or photo editing tools.
Adobe Creative Cloud. Knowledge of enterprise, business or IT Systems and applications from both a training and support role.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Training and development experience.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated proficiency in technology.
Bachelor’s Degree.
Three (3) years minimum experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with modular HR and Finance system like PeopleSoft.
Experience in Higher Education.
Master’s Degree.
Five (5) years experience.
