Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, Primary Care Internal Medicine, is responsible for initial and ongoing brand, skills & tools training for Neuroscience US Customer Facing Colleagues.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead design and delivery of training in alignment with local business strategies

  • Manage all learning and classroom assets- print, eLearning, leader-led POA workshops, class presentations, pre-launch and launch training workshops, and sustainability training programs throughout the life cycle of brand(s)

  • Direct design, implementation, and continual updates of Neuroscience Training Curriculum to include planning, logistics management, participant conduct, content development, and budgeting

  • Present interactive training (both virtual and Face to Face) on product and disease states, competition, market landscape, selling skills, selling strategies and technical knowledge

  • Coach/mentor, lead, and motivate sales colleagues as their primary coach throughout training

  • Mentor Field Faculty in developing their training capabilities

  • Create strong relationships with BU Partners, including Leadership, Marketing, Medical, Sales, Regulatory and Legal, to aggressively prioritize needs and manage demand

  • Partner effectively with L&D Creation Team to make decisions on appropriate content for implementation aligning with Regional brand strategies

  • Partner with local and regional SMEs to ensure timely, effective and relevant training content delivery

  • Localize Global training assets to meet the needs of the US market

  • Leverage learning technology and independently run training courses using Training systems (Teams, PLA Platform, Questionmark, etc)

  • Manage certification process customer facing colleagues via testing and administration of Sales Call Evaluations (SCE)s

  • Commitment to learn and master new disease states and treatments for both current and future product portfolio

  • Flexibility to deliver other training content (ie-leadership, skills training etc)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Neuroscience Experience preferred

  • Field Faculty Experience a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 7+ years of training or related sales experience

  • Strong track record of success as sales representative, trainer or marketer or related role

  • Outstanding selling, presentation, facilitation and writing skills

  • Sound judgment and decision making

  • Demonstrated creativity, leadership, and teamwork abilities

  • Excellent organizational abilities and capacity to simultaneously manage multiple complex projects

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with track record of working collaboratively across functions

  • Ability to effectively interact with and manage stakeholder at varying levels

  • Local understanding of pharmaceutical industry and ability to translate business needs into training strategy

  • Strong project Management Skills

  • Ability to make sound decisions with minimal direction

  • Seizes Accountability

  • Familiarity with Pfizer systems and the use of technology in training

  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
