Job Description
Summary
The Student Helper will be engaged in analyzing stroke patients' language production, creating output data sets for statistical analysis, and will summarize the state of the literature in relation to the data sets produced. The Student Helper will be trained on conducting statistical analysis.
Job Duties
- Transcribes patient conversations and prepares for CLAN input.
- Scores patient testing batteries.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a High School or College Student (undergraduate or graduate).
- No experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with discourse transcription in individuals following left and/or right hemisphere stroke.
- Experience scoring language batteries for individual with stroke.
