Job Description

Summary

The Baylor College of Medicine Supply Chain Services Division is seeking a Coordinator, Procurement - Contracts and Compliance to provide assistance to technical procurement personnel related to routine procurement matters.

Job Duties

  • Monitors existing contract assignments, expirations, modifications, and renewals.
  • Assists in reviewing, developing, maintaining, and appropriate sharing of department-related documents and contracts database.
  • Assists in amending contracts and obtaining appriate approvals.
  • Operates in SAP modules for Procurement, Contracts management, and Accounts Payable.
  • Identifies issues that arise with the campus community and/or vendors that are directly related to procurement contracts.
  • Coordinates with staff, college departments, and pertinent contractors at all stages of the procurement process to ensure contract execution and adherence to Uniform Guidance.
  • Processes contract documentation in accordance with College policies and procedures.
  • Prepares reports for Senior department staff when requested.
  • Proactively identifies and recommends process improvement opportunities within the contracts and compliance department, and its interation with college-wide principals.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
     

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with online Contract Management platforms.
