Position Description
The Sinclair lab is known for its work on genes and small molecules that delay or reverse aging. They have identified a new approach to safely reverse the age of tissues and used it to restore the vision of old mice, a study that was recently on the cover of Nature. The lab has a wide range of expertise and interests, including cancer, neurodegeneration, blindness, diabetes, and muscle degeneration.

The individual will work under the direction of senior research staff, the Lab Technician will perform a variety of basic laboratory duties. These may include assisting with or setting up experiments according to established protocols. Maintaining laboratory notebooks that detail experimental procedures and results. Collecting, recording, organizing, processing, and presenting data and experimental results. A lab technician may also perform other lab duties as required.
 
Basic Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent with some related college courses preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience.

Additional Information
This is a one-year term position from the date of hire, with the possibility of extension, contingent upon work performance and continued funding to support the position. 

Offer contingent upon successful completion of a pre-placement medical evaluation.

This is an in-person position based on our campus in Boston.
