Summary
The Division of Neonatology in the department of Pediatrics is looking for a Project Management Associate. The candidate will be responsible for the organization and project management of clinical program-based department initiatives. The Project Management Associate will work under the direction of a Senior Project Management Associate.
Job Duties
- Manages projects to ensure implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives.
- Prepares and analyzes project metrics and assists in background research as needed.
- Serves as the representative and as a participating member of designated committees and task forces.
- Facilitates and communicates with project team members, as well as coordinates with internal and external customers.
- Ensures proper documentation (agendas, minutes, project plans, presentations, etc.) is complete, timely, accurate, and in accordance with our standards and policies.
- Monitors progress against approved plan; when necessary, adjusts plan with approval of project sponsors.
- Analyzes issues and data related to projects and presents findings to leadership for effective decision-making.
- Follows-up during and after assignments to evaluate the effectiveness of the project.
- Serves as a project manager for various multifaceted strategic and business-related projects within programatic scope.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Two years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- A relevant master's degree may be considered in lieu of two years of experience.
- Knowledge of project management and proven organizational skills (example: project planning, timeline, metrics, and process mapping).
- Familiarity with healthcare operations.
- Experience with various computer applications such as MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
