Position Description
Assist and supervise all Public Safety operations during the tour of duty to ensure that all people and their property on campus are safe and secure.
Position Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two years experience in related operations (police, security, fire fighting, military). At least one year of demonstrated experience in a related leadership position (police, security, firefighting, military). Satisfactory completion of an approved police training academy or security officer training academy (i.e., NJ CUPSA). Ability to prepare, read, and correct reports. Flexibility and ability to work any shift, any day of the week. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Must have demonstrated effective communication and leadership skills and the ability to perform well under pressure situations. Must possess the physical condition necessary to fulfill duties. Must understand and accept the role and responsibilities of being essential personnel.
