The Imaging Research program receives about $7 million per year in NIH funding and includes 1400 sq. ft. of wet lab space, a full animal imaging suite, and sophisticated image analytic and mathematical modeling capabilities. Dedicated academic time is provided and PhD-level scientists are employed by the department to assist the clinical faculty in their research efforts.
Successful candidates must have an M.D. degree or equivalent, a Florida medical license or be eligible for one, and be board certified/eligible in Radiology. Fellowship training in body imaging is strongly preferred. Prefer experience in a multi-disciplinary academic clinical practice setting.
