Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Recruitment Coordinator serves as the coordinator for all enrollment management-related initiatives and is tasked with special projects to assist the deans annual report and BoR presentations. The coordinator is primarily responsible for coordinating, organizing, planning the enrollment of programs through new student pipeline management including, but not limited to, marketing, communications, recruitment events, program management, community relations, high school partnerships and relationship building activities.

Coordinates and staff’s prospective student events including but not limited to: Racer Day, Racer Nation Orientation, Admitted Student Weekend, etc.
Organizes, reviews, and distributes calendar invitations, expectations, slide desk, arrive times and start times for presenters and volunteers.
Facilitates and submits deliverables required from admissions and enrollment management.
Develops news initiatives and outreach activities for local constituencies to support traditional freshman and transfer student enrollment goals.
Builds relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote the School at events, meetings, and workgroups. Ensures communication of key brand values and equips all colleagues with necessary information to promote the School and its programs to perspective students and parents.
Manages a team of student ambassadors, the SONHP Ambassadors, to participate at large-scale recruitment events. Identifies, trains, staffs, and evaluates each students’ participation to determine recruitment effectiveness.
Assists in arranging and following up on prospective student visits
Coordinates and strategizes on messaging and the development of presentations related to the SONHP at events and new ventures related to recruitment.
Attends local recruitment events aligned with the Schools recruitment goals. Serves, when applicable, as the School’s spokesperson at university-wide events.
Review and update content for websites including, but not limited to, editorial content, website copy, videos, pictures, and infographics.
Other duties as assigned and ability to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends.
Enrollment management
Continue admin support for SONHP programs in Oakley Applied Science North.
Minimum Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements
One-year experience in marketing, special projects or developing recruiting tools and strategies.
Ability to interact in a highly professional manner with internal and external constituents at all levels
Ability to serve as a spokesperson for the School. The ability to tailor brand messages to specific audiences is key
Highly proficient oral and written communication skills
Possess excellent interpersonal skills, including phone and email, in meeting with prospective student and external stakeholders (i.e. academic advisors, transfer counselors, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to understand trends.
Ability to work independently in project development
Must be skilled in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Education and/or Experience Qualifications
Familiarity with Banner, project management software, and MyGate strongly preferred.
Experience in a health professions field preferred.
