As the Principle Research Technologist, you will participate in the design, organization, and performance of daily research project activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Plans, organizes, performs and monitors daily project protocols.
  • Collects, prepares and maintains required research documentation, including informed consent records, case records, clinical notes and medical reports.
  • Assists the Principal Investigator in constructing and submitting grant proposals.
  • Reports and assists with the management of protocol deviations, adverse events and other project-related issues.
  • Safeguards the use of drugs and maintains legal requirements for experimental drug usage as needed.
  • Assists with the preparation and delivery of internal/external presentations, conference reports/lectures, and publishing submissions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Master's Degree in Biological Sciences or a Bachelor's Degree plus 15 years of independent research, which includes the ability to perform independent research projects.
  • Demonstrated and thorough understanding of research techniques, procedures, protocols and management of the laboratory are essential.
  • Ability to direct the work of others. Ph.D.
  • Degree may substitute for some experience.

Certifications:

  • None required.

Complexity of Work:

  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Work Experience:

  • A minimum of ten years of related experience in a research laboratory.

Physical Requirements:

  • Normal physical requirements include good near visual acuity and color acuity.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $30.41

Maximum hourly: $46.38

The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education.
