Job Description

Designs, develops, integrates, tests, validates, and/or debugs software across multiple layers of the software stack spanning firmware, drivers, operating systems, middleware, frameworks, algorithms, and applications/UI for a specific technology, product/platform, and/or market segment, including the development of software to enable specific features, capabilities, solutions, reference platforms, or Intel products.

Qualifications

- B.Tech/M Tech. Computer Science/Electronics with 3-8 years of software development experience with strong knowledge of python, C, C++
-Very good firmware design and development experience on various SOC.
-Should have solid hands-on experience in test automation, workflow automation development with very strong knowledge in python/similar scripting languages for embedded platforms.
- Understands the technical concepts, architecture, systems, development methods, and disciplines associated with the defined projects, applies the knowledge to deliverables, and leverages it to accelerate project completion.
-Strong knowledge of python-based automation
-Expertise in working on platform development in any of the intel groups and good debugging HWs is desirable
-Expertise in any of the HW interfaces like multimedia (audio, video), connectivity (BT, WIFI, GNSS), storage (NVM, SATA, Optane), sensors, human input, IO (Type-C, USB, Thunderbolt) technologies
- Very good understanding of Software Engineering and Design methodologies
- The candidate must be confident, self-sufficient, learn quickly, and have strong problem solving skills.
- Able to explore technical options and objectively compare alternatives and tradeoffs
- Expertise in Test Automation, Continuous Integration, web technologies/cloud software is plus
- Understanding of the SDLC and industry-standard SW design principle

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
