Job Description

This is a Contract or a Time limited position for a minimum of 13 weeks contract and extendable with notice. This position will pay $50.00 per hour with no benefits. 

 

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic clinical procedures as defined in the Respiratory Care Services scope of clinical practice and in accordance with physician orders, policies, and protocols. Additional responsibilities are required, such as maintaining proficiency with all respiratory and blood gas lab modalities and equipment, communicating with other members of the interprofessional care team, and documenting/billing for services in the electronic medical record. The RRT serves as an ambassador for the department as well as the Center by demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.

 

Education required:

Associate's degree -CoARC accredited Respiratory Therapy Program

 

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

  • Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS)
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/RT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

 

Minimum Experience Required:


6 months of Respiratory Care experience, including adult critical care. (May include clinical rotation
experience if new grad.)
