Software Architecture Technology Group (SATG) enables Intel's vision for software and advanced technology by delivering open and secure software platforms, driving industry standards, and ensuring that software is powerful competitive differentiator for Intel. Within SATG, System Software Architecture (SSA) team is responsible for enabling Intel's broad portfolio of products and technologies across Linux ecosystem partners to drive adoption and support via Operating System Vendors (OSVs) and Cloud Service Providers (CSPs). This work involves co-engineering with Linux community and Operating System Vendors.
Senior Software Validation OS Engineer's task involves, but not limited to, design, develop, integrate, test, validate, and debug software across multiple layers of the stack including firmware, drivers, operating systems, middleware, frameworks, algorithms and applications/UI. As part of this process the software engineer collaborates with architects and engineers, across cross-functional teams, to deliver an OS Vendor consumable solution for Intel technology adoption.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications,
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering or any other related field.
- 4+ years of experience in:
- working with one or more of the following languages C / C++ / Python / PowerShell / Go.
- developing, enhance and automate test cases, from unit tests to end-to-end multi machine workloads.
- working with and debugging unstable hardware, identify system level issues (firmware, hardware or OS).
- building on top IT infrastructure and services to create solutions for a remote Linux engineering environment.
- Intermediate to advanced English level.
- Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Mexico.
Preferred qualifications,
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates:
- Experience in test automation, managing and automating CI/CD flows for systems (GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, etc.).
- Familiar with modern QA and Infrastructure deployment practices, along with creating effective communication (e.g. dashboard).
- Experience analyzing complex systems and data.
