The Manager, in collaboration with and direction from the Director of Supply Chain Operations, is responsible for the management of day-to-day operation and efficient management and oversight of the ordering and inventory of OR surgical supply, medical supply stores and general stores. The Manager facilitates ordering and receiving, inventory, record keeping, and surgical and medical supplies, equipment preparation and delivery. The position also requires assisting in developing, updating, and maintaining policies and procedures in accordance with the Joint Commission, OSHA guidelines and other regulatory agencies.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Lead the activities of all functions involved in the control of surgical and medical materials from the receipt of forecasting replenishment needs to the delivery of requested goods to COH end users.
  • Manage inventory and establish controls to ensure COH is operating at the highest level of performance based on key performance metrics and minimize supply chain risk.
  • Prepare reports on cost analysis to be discussed with department in order to make a final decision concerning vendors and pricing.
  • Partner with physicians & nursing leadership to develop technical requirements and specifications, strategies, policies, procedures, and overall team to optimize value of the entire function in creating a world class operation.

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field or equivalent required. (Experience may substitute).
  • 5 years or more progressive experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operational Supply Chain related roles.
  • 3 years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting
  • Proven leadership skills in building and managing front line teams with a history of success in executing projects in support of strategic business initiatives.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft ERP preferred.

Job Status: Full time, exempt

Salary range: $90,646 - $151,393
