Summary

The Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking to recruit a board-certified plastic surgeon, specializing in cosmetic surgery. This clinically active position will provide both outpatient and inpatient care, alongside our multidisciplinary group of physicians. The accepted candidate will be required to possess a track record of excellent clinical performance and scholarly enthusiasm.

Job Duties

  • Develop and participate in department and division clinical, research, and educational programs.
  • Support the implementation of evidence-based, state-of-the-art protocols and quality metrics for the service at BCM.
  • Provide call coverage for CHI St. Luke's Hospital, TCH, and other affiliated hospitals as needed.
  • Actively participate in college, department, hospital, and clinical professional meetings.
  • Grow the plastic surgery division through participation in clinical, research, and education efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Texas Medical Board certification or eligibility.
  • Completion of a certified plastic surgery residency program.
  • Completion of a cosmetic surgery fellowship preferred.
