Summary

The section of critical care medicine in the department of pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine is recruiting for a 1-year clinical instructor position to focus on critically ill patients in the Cardiac ICU.  The mission is to provide focused training and scholarship opportunities to Cardiology and/or Pediatric Critical Care Board Eligible/Certified physicians in the management of critically ill patients in the CICU.

Texas Children's Hospital is a leading academic children's hospital and is the largest free-standing children's hospital in the nation. We recently opened our state-of-the art Legacy Tower, which is home to our intensive care units, new high intensity operating rooms, and the entire TCH Heart Center.   We admit more than 4,000 critically ill children annually. The patient population includes all the pediatric sub-specialties including solid organ transplant, trauma, oncology, pulmonary hypertension, ECMO, and neuro-critical care.

Requirements: Texas Licensure required prior to beginning employment. Eligible candidates must be board certified in Pediatrics and Board Certified or Board Eligible in either Pediatric Critical Care or Pediatric Cardiology
