Job Description

Summary

Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children's Hospital are significantly expanding their fundamental and translational biomedical research programs relevant to children's and women's health. As part of this expansion, they seek an outstanding physician-scientist, poised to become fully independent, with a background in neurogenetics, child neurology, and/or a related field. A focus on better understanding the underlying mechanisms and interactions of circadian rhythms, sleep, and seizures in neurodevelopmental disorders is of particular interest. The successful candidate will be on a path to become a leader in her or his field, having demonstrated a commitment to scholarly activity, rigorous scientific investigation, creativity, and collaboration.

The physician-scientist candidate should be Board-qualified or Board-eligible in a clinical specialty relevant to his or her research and to children's and/or women's health. The physician-scientist candidate should be eligible for licensure in Texas. The candidate must be a US citizen or non-citizen national or must have been lawfully admitted for permanent residence and possess verification of legal admission as a permanent US resident at the time of acceptance. Individuals on temporary or student visas are not eligible to apply.
