Job Summary
The ETSU Ballad Health Strong BRAIN Institute (SBI) is accepting applications for a Project Manager. The Project Manager will support the SBI by ensuring project teams meet all requirements and complete deliverables according to contracts or agreements with partners and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and trauma informed principles, have proven experience and expertise managing projects with multidisciplinary teams, and have an understanding of the research process. The person hired will work on campus during traditional business hours.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong attention to deadlines and project details.
Knowledge of university policies and procedures and grant policies and procedures.
Ability to make independent decisions and take the appropriate action in situations requiring a quick decision.
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently to meet various concurrent deadlines.
Knowledge of budget management.
Thorough knowledge of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and trauma informed principles.
Ability and willingness to promote and practice the used of trauma informed principles.
Knowledge of and experience in the research environment in higher education.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Public Health, Business Management, or a related field
Two (2) years of professional related experience
Experience overseeing multidisciplinary projects
Experience working on projects related to ACEs, trauma informed principles, and/or substance use issues
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing projects within academic institutions
Knowledge of grant budget management
Experience in grant writing
