Job Description
Position PurposeProvides facilities, security, and emergency planning management for the Baker-Berry, Rauner, and Sherman Libraries, and the Library Collections and Services Facility. Serves as the Libraries’ project manager for renovation and construction projects. Keeps library staff and key stakeholders updated on any facility-related changes and projects. Creates and maintains a welcoming environment by embedding diversity, equity, and inclusion policies and practices into their work whenever applicable.
The is a fully onsite position.
Description
Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp Bachelors plus 3-5 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Three years experience with facilities management, procedures, and principles
Substantial project and space management experience
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting competing deadlines
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with university, campus operations, and related policies and procedures
Emergency or security management experience
