City of Hope Orange County is transforming cancer treatment by bringing world-class expertise and specialized care closer to home. Supported by a regional network of care, our 11-acre academic cancer campus in Irvine is home to City of Hope Orange County Lennar Foundation Cancer Center, our outpatient cancer center, and Orange County’s only cancer specialty hospital, opening in late 2025.With the opening of the hospital, the full continuum of advanced cancer care—from prevention through survivorship—will be available in Orange County for the first time, eliminating the need to travel for lifesaving treatment. Seamlessly connected to our outpatient cancer center, the new clinical research hospital will feature 73 inpatient beds, advanced surgical suites, groundbreaking clinical trials, and holistic services such as rehabilitative therapy and spiritual care. This isn’t standard cancer care. This is lifesaving cancer care. This is Hope.

Performs a variety of business support functions to support the planning, decision-making, and implementation activities for Administration. Plans and implements projects with upper management support. Participates in rotations throughout all departments as part of the educational experience of the fellowship.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Develop financial models to assist in administrative decision-making.
  • Develop/change policies and procedures to support changes in federal regulation guidelines, or operational processes.
  • Compile and analyze data in various forms to support decision-making.
  • Develop business plans to guide process of new program development: complete market assessment, assess community need, develop financial and operations proforma.
  • Responsible for recruitment of Administrative Fellows.
  • Interact and establish cooperative working relationships with various departments.
  • Maintain professional growth and development, and awareness of current health care trends:
  • Demonstrates knowledge of relevant laws, policies, regulations, and standards affecting decision-making.
  • Attends education conferences, courses, and lectures as required.
  • Acts as an advocate for City of Hope at conferences and meetings.
  • Attend meetings and participate in committees, as directed:
  • Regularly attends Executive Leadership Team and participates in planning process.
  • Will be responsible for agenda items and present information requested at meetings or committees.
  • Regular attendee of Performance Improvement Council.

Your qualifications should include:

  • Master’s degree completed prior to start of fellowship
  • 1-2 years of healthcare-related experience (includes healthcare related internships, residencies, healthcare/research project management or quality improvement).

·Job Status: Full time, exempt

·Salary $99,410
