Join our team as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, where you will be responsible for performing a wide range of Nuclear Medicine examinations on patients of all ages. This includes utilizing advanced imaging equipment such as SPECT-CT, Gamma Cameras, Thyroid Probe, and PET-CT with Diagnostic CT, and, when applicable, PET-MR systems. Your role will encompass organ imaging, function studies, computer analysis, and assisting physicians in the therapeutic administration of radioisotopes under prescribed conditions. Your expertise will contribute to the comprehensive care of our patients and advance our diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities in nuclear medicine. Our Nuclear Medicine department includes the following: PET/CT (Biograph 600), SPECT/CT (Symbia Intevo Bold) cardiac stress testing, and radioimmunotherapy suite. As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Rotate between General Nuclear Medicine, Theranostics and PET/CT.
  • Perform radionuclide procedures on patients of all ages, inclusive of organ imaging, function studies, computer analysis and assisting the physician in the therapeutic administration of radioisotopes under prescribed conditions.
  • Be responsible for equipment calibration checks/field uniformity, and reporting/scheduling equipment maintenance, as necessary.
  • Utilize protective shielding and prescribed safety standards for radioactive sources in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
  • May include weekends and on-call scheduling

Your qualifications should include:

  • Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program
  • New Graduates accepted
  • California State Certification in Nuclear Medicine AND

    Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (CNMT) or R.T. (N) (ARRT)

  • BLS (AHA)
  • With <3 years of experiences as a Nuc Med Tech, candidates may be considered for Molecular Imaging Technologist I (Pay Range for MIT I: $46.58//hr - $60.55/hr - $74.52/hr)
  • With >3 years of experiences as a Nuc Med Tech, candidates may be considered for Molecular Imaging Technologist II (Pay Range for MIT II: $51.23/hr - $66.60/hr - $81.98/hr)
