Position Summary:
The System Clinical Trials (SCT) Operations Program Manager will support the development and implementation of strategic initiatives within Clinical Trial Operations. The Operations Manager will be responsible for tracking key performance metrics, managing progress on performance improvement projects, preparing dashboards and reports for Disease Team Leads and SCT senior leadership and ensuring alignment with broader strategic goals. The Program Manager will serve as a central liaison between internal stakeholders, providing timely updates and driving accountability for deliverables.
The ideal candidate must have strong business acumen, project management, communication, and presentation development skills.
As a successful candidate, you will:
Strategic Program Management
Develop and monitor key performance metrics
Develop and implement plans to achieve specified targets
Coordinate and manage operational activities for the program
Routinely report on performance to System Clinical Trials Operations
Prepare reports and presentations such as Monthly Business Review, Board of Directors etc.
Develop and maintain the budget, timeline, and implementation plan
Strategic Project Management
Lead the management of strategic initiatives from inception to implementation
Create and execute project plans, timelines, and budgets
Coordinate content and maintain SCT website content and ensure that it is routinely updated
Establish routine reporting and templates to be used across System Clinical Trials
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Track and analyze System Clinical Trial performance metrics against established benchmarks.
Prepare and deliver regular reports and dashboards for leadership review.
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Your qualifications should include:
Bachelor’s degree in health administration, Public Health, or Business Administration. 4 additional years of experience plus the minimum experience requirement may substitute for minimum education.
Two years or more experience in hospital operations working with analytics, dashboards, and KPIs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Experience creating/presenting slide decks for executive leadership.

Job Status: Full time, exempt
Salary range $89,793 - $139,193

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $43.18 - $66.92 / hour
The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
