Services Offered at City of Hope Phoenix: We offer surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, interventional oncology, genomic testing, precision cancer treatment and immunotherapy. Our clinical specialists treat all major and rare cancers with great attention to optimizing patients’ quality of life using multiple evidence-based clinical resources, treatments, and technology.

Position Highlights:

  • Provide comprehensive critical care for oncology patients in the ICU setting.

  • 7 on 7 off schedule

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

  • Respond to codes and rapid responses

  • 24/7 vascular access team

  • 38 total beds in the hospital (average ICU patient census is around 3)

  • Opportunity to engage in clinical and translational research while collaborating with cutting-edge faculty at TGen, City of Hope’s genomics research center in downtown Phoenix. Qualified faculty may be eligible for joint appointments, and candidates with funded research programs are strongly encouraged to apply and contribute to the broader City of Hope-TGen research enterprise.

  • EPIC EMR

Competitive Compensation: Includes a highly competitive salary, signing bonus, relocation assistance and productivity/performance incentives. Actual compensation will be adjusted for specialty, experience, training, hospital/community needs and other factors

  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)

  • Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine.

  • Must have or be eligible to obtain Arizona Medical License prior to starting date

  • Experience and interest in the care of inpatient oncology patients. Experienced candidates are preferred, but new graduates are also welcome to apply.
