Job Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities: Position is assigned to support the Deputy Provost and the Faculty Senate. The position serves the needs of the Faculty Senate at the direction of the chair by scheduling all meetings of the Senate including committee meetings. Other duties include: preparing bills for introduction, maintaining the Senate website, communicating with all Senators, preparing and publishing minutes, answering procedural questions, & working with academic scheduling for space assignments. Support for the Deputy Provost includes scheduling standing meetings with the Community College Vice Presidents, preparing minutes and agendas for these meetings, preparing degree proposals for signature and processing, scheduling special group meetings for the Deputy Provost, maintaining the calendar, preparing travel reimbursements, purchasing supplies, responding to office inquiries, and other tasks as assigned. This position is a public representative of the university and must be able to present with the professionalism expected of a member of the Provost's staff.



Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
High School diploma + 4 years of relevant experience or an Associate's Degree + 2 years of relevant experience.

Environment: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
