Summary
The Department of Otolaryngology's Division of Research is seeking a candidate to perform the routine elements of research work that requires the use of skills, technical, and academic knowledge to follow established procedures andrecord results. The ideal candidate oversees, manages, and leads day-to-day research operations to ensure that current and long-term business goals are met.
Job Duties
- Performs and oversees the daily operation of a research department or unit.
- Coordinates quality assurance and safety programs.
- Establishes work plan and schedule for research project.
- Performs inventory of lab equipment and supplies.
- Ensures the ongoing review and development of process improvements to maximize business productivity.
- Assists with regulatory activities that lead to timely regulatory submission.
- May assist with or manage special projects.
- May provide guidance, help with training and review work of entry level employees.
- May lead parts of less complex projects or processes.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Two years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field
