Do you want to join a dynamic team that solves significant issues and challenges for our nation's security? If so, you could be the experienced Tactical Planner we are seeking to join our team!
On any given day, you may be called on to:
- Work as a key contributor to the Minor Modifications team. This team provides project like work to all areas of the lab. Knowledge of facilities, maintenance and project execution is crucial in this role.
- Plan, coordinate and schedule work for the Minor Modifications team.
- Provide estimates and track costs on project like work.
- Order materials and supplies.
- Strong customer service is needed for this position.
Due to the nature of the work, the selected applicant must be able to work onsite.
Salary Range:
$74,700 - $144,400
*Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential.
Qualifications We Require:
- Bachelor's degree in facilities or construction or in relevant discipline, plus five (5) or more years of directly related experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of the job, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE L-level security clearance.

About Our Team:
Department 4743, Structural Services, provides preventive and corrective maintenance on all administrative locks, painting, building structural systems and equipment, pedestrian pathways, fences, gates, parking lots, roadways--both improved (asphalt and concrete) and unimproved, water deliveries to water storage tanks, cranes and hoists, and landscape areas. The department also provides excavation and emergency support to Sandia National Laboratories when requested by the Incident Commander.

Security Clearance:
Sandia is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, law enforcement records, and employment/education verifications. If you have a Medical Portable Electronic Device (MedPED), such as a pacemaker, defibrillator, drug-releasing pump, hearing aids, or diagnostic equipment and other equipment for measuring, monitoring, and recording body functions such as heartbeat and brain waves, if employed by Sandia National Laboratories you may be required to comply with NNSA security requirements for MedPEDs.
