Job Description
Summary
The intern/aide will receive training on basic molecular biology experiments, including immunoblotting, PCR, cell culture, cloning, and flow cytometry. This is part-time position, 20hours/week.
Job Duties
- Learns fundamental lab techniques.
- Understands the basic concept of the lab's research topics.
- Participates in the lab's research meetings.
- Engages in guided experimental practices.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in high school, trade/vocational school or higher education institution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong communication, organization and record keeping skills is desired.
- Basic knowledge in biology and genetics is a plus.
