Position Summary

This role will act as the subject matter expert in one or more HR applications, providing functional support to design, configuration, reporting, training, documentation, and projects. The role will be responsible for responding to business needs with problem analysis, solution recommendations, feature evaluation and data security. The role will act as the HR systems liaison between business teams, vendors and IT to ensure that systems are meeting the needs of the business and operating seamlessly with the rest of the enterprise. The role is also responsible for handling details of a highly confidential and critical nature, and must function efficiently and effectively, in a Healthcare/Lifesciences or similar environment. 

Key Responsibilities include:

• Provide hands-on tier 2 or 3 operational support for HR system/process issues and questions, conducting and coordinating analysis to resolution.
• Partner with business to gather requirements, develop documentation and collaborate with IT, HRIS and cross-functional areas to configure, test and deploy solutions.
• Monitor and maintain security information for HR and identify need for updating guidelines and application/data security requirements.
• Develop and maintain reports to meet business specifications; Analyze and leverage data to audit transactions and workflow and interfaces to ensure data integrity, reconcile discrepancies and identify corrective actions needed to improve data quality.
• Coordinate HR interface creation and updates for requirements gathering, data mapping, design specifications, testing and scheduling with IT and vendor teams
• Act as workstream lead on low-medium complexity projects, change requests, feature releases and process design initiatives.
• Provide support to team in identifying improvement and innovation opportunities around system, process and user experience, and define options with justification, impacts and data findings.
• Continuously increase knowledge in HR technology, staying informed on product capabilities and trends, sharing knowledge within HRIS and business teams, and interacting with vendor communities.
• Collaborate in the development and adherence of HRIS guidelines and templates, and provide regular, proactive communication around issues, solution reviews, projects and roadblocks.
• Mentor and train others in system design, processes, procedures and in research/analysis approach as needed.

Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Strong System knowledge and 3 years’ demonstrated experience with process flow, configuration design, reporting and integrations in complex HR and/or related systems (e.g., PeopleSoft HCM, Workday, Oracle, Taleo, Cornerstone, etc.); Demonstrated experience in system analysis, design, support, implementation and vendor coordination.
