Pharmacist- Overnight

The successful candidate:
****Hours: overnight shift- 7 days on/7 days off***
The inpatient pharmacist is responsible for reviewing and interpreting providers’ orders for all medications, and screening for therapeutic incompatibilities. The pharmacists will assist with the monitoring of drug therapy, with an emphasis on chemotherapy. The pharmacist will be responsible for providing and educating on drug information to physicians, mid-level providers and other clinical staff. The pharmacist will be responsible for oversight of technician staff as it relates to sterile intravenous compounding, including chemotherapy and TPN, medication refilling, and unit dose drug preparations. The pharmacist will participate in quality improvement projects with an emphasis on patient safety. The pharmacist will participate in multi-disciplinary initiatives as requested.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy (RPh or Pharm D)
Licensure: License in good standing with Arizona State Board of Pharmacy

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $48.61 - $80.03 / hour
The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
